Well, the beginning of 2025 was a blurring and not in a good way. My fear is at an all -time high and I’m sure I don’t have to explain why.
I thought I would just come over today to show that I was still here. I turn the Big Five O. today I feel fifty? The good news is no, I don’t do it unless I look in the mirror in the morning or unless I try to take part in certain workouts.
So far, skiing has been great this winter and we took advantage of it, especially my husband, who goes several times a week. I am enough once a week, because I also work up there twice a week and everything I want is going home after I’m done.
I don’t have a party. I just wanted to disappear with my family for my birthday. We go to the Dominican Republic a little later when the children have time. It is booked! We have never went to an all-inclusive resort because we only went home to Germany. It will be a completely new experience for all of us and I’m looking forward to it because I have the feeling that it will last the last time we have this kind of vacation together, only that of us. Our son completes the college and our daughter completed the high school and goes on the way to college.
I am the kind of person who is stressed and concerned about planning a party or meeting, and I’m not even sure why, but it’s definitely not my thing. I would never be a party planner. I am lucky that friends meet me for happy hour, even though I didn’t have to plan anything.
Another new mirror

I was on a new mirror kick and bought another new mirror for the other side of the living room above the fireplace. The star that I had previously had no light and solves another mirror here.
In the end, for the time being, I hung the same Starburst over this mirror.

I did more works of art some time ago and never got myself to share that. Hopefully I’ll have a blog post next week.
