I hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Time to get ready to go to 2025 and I have the feeling that it will be another busy and crazy year. As I said, I am being 50 and my two children, one of the college and the other from the high school.
My last full personal update was in August (read it here when you missed it), where I talked about my blogging fights in 2024 with artificial intelligence on Google now and the Pinterest changes that had devastating effects on my blog. However, I didn’t give up because I can create my blog and create things at home. Here is my heart. I just don’t know where it leads and whether I can continue financially.
At the end of her football season, my daughter had a terrible case of hand, foot and mouth diseases, but luckily she recovered in time to take part in the last playoff games.
Her high school football team won districts for the first time in school history, which was certainly a big business and her football career a great end because she won’t play in college. She was excluded on her two top picks, which are the University of Pittsburg and (just like our son) Temple University. She also wants to be in the city. I seriously don’t know if I can handle another child in Philly, but I also like to have them closer. The trip to Pittsburg is far too long and boring.
Before Christmas I also wrote a blog post about my favorite things that I bought in 2024 (find it here if you missed it). After I wrote this blog post, I intervened with a new mirror for our living room because I was just above the Boho Raffia mirror. It’s still pretty, but I wanted something more traditional. Look at the beauty I found and I got it at a great price! It has a wooden golden antique finish with flower carved. Find it here.
In this blog post I also wrote an update about our kittens that are great! So you can find out more about you by clicking here.
I also had to visit home for ten days before Thanksgiving, which was great, but far too fast, and I didn’t really take a lot of photos. In addition, my brother doesn’t like photos of his children on the Internet and on social media.
